The U.S. Embassy has received numerous consumer complaints about local recruiting companies involved in the Summer Work and Travel Program. In an effort to improve the service we provide to visa applicants, while upholding U.S. immigration laws, the U.S. Embassy will no longer accept visa applications for the Summer Work and Travel Program from the following local recruiting companies:
- Acord NGO
- ASET
- Association for Youth Collaboration (ACT)
- Center for Transparency and Democracy (CTD)
- Echitatea
- Pro-Spiritus (YMCA)
- SEUC
- Studitierra
- World Travel
The U.S. Embassy also reserves the right to refuse to accept applications from these companies’ agents and affiliates.
